Christos Christou

Head of Corporate Accounting, Tax & Regulatory Reporting | IFRS Reporting · 2026 Tax Reform · Capital Adequacy · ACA · CySEC Advanced

Christos heads CX Financia’s Accounting, Tax and Regulatory Reporting function, taking full responsibility for the quality, accuracy and regulatory alignment of all financial deliverables across the firm’s client portfolio. He oversees bookkeeping standards, consolidated financial statements, corporate tax and VAT filings, and ensures that all financial data is structured to withstand regulatory and supervisory scrutiny.

A central dimension of his role is supporting clients through Cyprus’s 2026 tax reform landscape. Christos advises on the transition to the 15% corporate income tax, the application of the Notional Interest Deduction (NID), the 8% flat tax on crypto-asset gains, the 2.5% IP Box regime and the 120% R&D super-deduction — structuring financial information so that clients maximise available incentives while maintaining full compliance. He also structures financial data to underpin licensing applications, capital adequacy calculations and periodic regulatory reports required by CySEC and the EBA.

Christos coordinates closely with the compliance and advisory teams to ensure that financial and regulatory deliverables remain fully aligned across every engagement, and leads internal training on IFRS, tax obligations and regulatory reporting standards.
